I'll change it. Good translation, Vimto. A couple comments: In the third stanza the word "hilo" means "linen". Apparently a precious fabric years back. It has been sung in many poems, specially by Garcia Lorca. In the sixth stanza, "la vela" is not very clear, but it is not the way you translated. Again, "la vela" has different meanings and has been used in poetry. I'll look into it.
Camarón de la Isla (Spanish Edition) - AbeBooks - Montse Saborit Saborit:
At the end, "she" is not dead, "he" is: the gypsy. Notice that it says "muertO", and "no LO conoce nadie". Thanks for your suggestions I can't believe I missed the 'muerto' bit I've changed 'la vela' to 'he watches over her' for the time being Nothing seems to make sense. Vimto,Sorry I cut you off, but I don't know how to handle those messages.
