My back was killing me the day after I arrived because of a hard trekking. Liu and Katherine were super nice and generous with me. They did everything to help me improve.
I felt overwhelmed by their generosity and wonderful souls. I am sure their parents must be so proud of them, I would. Thank you Liu, your father must be very proud of you! Thank you Katherine, you are so talented! The hotel is perfect. The room is super confortable. Everything is so clean. The staff is the best.

Believe me, after a long trip in Flores you will enjoy this 5 star hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with a nice variety of choices and lovely setting in the garden. The woman at the reception was very helpful in summoning a driver to take us to Liang Bua cave which we highly recommend and arranging for the shuttle bus to pick us up at the hotel for the trip to Labuan Bajo. The food at the restaurant was good. Very comfortable. Good restaurant. Great staff. Spring Hill was a fantastic respite. Quiet, peaceful. We liked that they had their own secluded grounds, but it didn't take much to walk into town, either.

And we were easily able to sleep all day, which was one of our goals - for one day. It was exactly what we needed this weekend. Worth the splurge. I think I used it five times over the weekend. It was also nice to have a desk and veranda. Beautiful setting, awesome food and lovely staff. Beautiful and clean.
Some Other Spring
The whole night there was very loud disco music seemingly just over the street. Even with ear pluggs we hardly got any sleep Nice campus, helpful and very friendly staff. Wifi was almost non existent and we had to keep logging in every time it dropped out or we just turned our devices off.
Only one bedside lamp, no safe and no fridge. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good size bathroom and hot shower. We booked a triple room because it looked separate in the photos. It doesn't share a communal wall but there is an upper floor. Noisy people walking around late at night and early morning. Breakfast was okay but could be improved by keeping the food warm.
The setting is pleasant and green with a pretty garden. Room was stuffy with closed windows, needed fan or AC. Also had rude guests on level two who let their children jump and run noisily above our room. Tofu was delicious, dancing was a bonus. Very comfortable clean rooms. You get free water in glass bottles, not plastic!
The whole facilities looked really new and were made with great attention to detail, exquisit garden and pond! Breakfast was also very nice. The hotel definitely earns more than booking. The sound from the neighbouring room's TV came right through the wall to the headboard of the bed, made it very hard to get to sleep while they had their TV on.

Gorgeous grounds. Great food. Beautiful surrounding, very nice places. I think the best in Ruteng. Best place to stay in Ruteng. Traveling with friends and we loved it This was our last stop on our long trip of Flores and it was lovely. We loved the grounds and our room which was very comfy.
More on Big Spring. Like all Ozark springs, Big Spring is busy dissolving away the walls of its underground passages.
One researcher estimated that about tons of calcium carbonate rock are carried away in solution by Big Spring's water every day! Over the course of a year, this is enough rock to produce a cavern 30 feet high by 50 feet wide and one mile in length. Alley Spring: Alley Spring is located at the foot of a picturesque limestone bluff. The beautiful red Alley Mill is located on its bank, utilizing its perennial flow of water to operate its turbine powered flour mills.
The spring has an average daily flow of 81 million gallons of water. During most times the water is a placid azure blue, gently welling up from below, but after a storm has swelled the underground conduits feeding the spring, it can gush forth in angry swells and splashes of brown.
More on Alley Spring. Not to be confused with another "Blue Spring" on the Jacks Fork River near Mountain View The spring flows relatively slowly from a very deep cave shaft that is situated at the base of a dolomite bluff. The average flow of the spring to is cfs, or 69 mgd Vineyard and Fender The recharge area for the spring can be calculated to be approximately square miles using the mean annual flow in cfs as a guide, and this approximation is supported by the current knowledge of the local groundwater flow that has been obtained using dye studies Aley and Aley, The recharge area for the spring includes the headwaters of Logan Creek which is nearly 10 miles from the spring itself Aley and Aley, This part of the recharge area lies in the topographic watershed of the Black River.
The underground conduit of Blue Spring has been explored and mapped to a depth of over vertical feet. The land around the spring was used as a lodge and retreat until when it was sold to the Missouri Department of Conservation MDC. The land around the spring is still a MDC inholding and state designated natural area. More on Blue Spring. The spring flows into an almost perfectly circular cavern that has collapsed, and from there it travels through a natural tunnel before it emerges into the spring branch. The average flow of the spring during a year record is 40 cfs and 26 mgd Vineyard and Feder The recharge area of the spring encompasses roughly 45 square miles Aley and Aley A portion of the spring's recharge area is situated to the southwest under Spring Valley.
It is also possible that part of the recharge area is situated to the northeast, which means that the groundwater would have to flow under the Current River to reach the spring. Round Spring was also one of the first parks in the Missouri state park system More on Round Spring. The spring flows from the rock structures at the bottom of a cliff forming a small pool.
