I love making fruit pizza during the summer Not as sweet as the frosting but delicious! So impressed with the recipe. I made it for a birthday and all the kids ate it all up picking at every last crumb. Definetly going to make again. Very easy. Unlike you like very rich and the taste of raw frosting, add in a whole lot more whip cream to dilute the stong taste of the frosting..
Easy Fruit Pizza
Found this recipe a while back I love making this for parties throughout the year. Fun part is the fruit patterns always vary. Huge hit with family and friends.
I keep everyone guessing, though, as I sometimes will use the chocolate chip cookie dough instead of the sugar cookie dough and it adds a bit more sweetness and who doesn't love chocolate with strawberries, etc? I also vary the fruit, using canteloupe chunks, blueberries, kiwi, grapes, strawberries, and diced mango.
Very colorful, delicious and keeps well, just in case there ever are any leftovers usually not! The one trick I have learned, though, is to slice the "pizza" after the topping is spread, before adding the fruit - much easier and makes a nicer looking dessert. I made this recipe for a Memorial Day gathering and it was a big hit! It's very simple to make, I omitted the grapes and added more berries.
I also used a 5x10 cookie sheet. I would store it in the fridge for a few hours before serving. The leftovers are even better!
How to make cream cheese fruit pizza:
I was gonna make cake pops for mother's day until I saw this. I made this recipe a week ago. Loved it, but I would like the crust to be softer. Any ideas? I love this receipt! I made it for a party and everyone loved it and it is super easy to make! I will again be making this for 4th of July. Make in 15x10 pan, using strawberries for red flag stripes, lemon dipped bananas or strawberries dipped in powdered sugar or any fruit even kiwi dipped in white chocolate for white stripes, and either blueberries or blackberries for star field, with 50 blueberries dipped in white chocolate for stars.
I've been making this recipe for years with a few changes. If you bake the cookie too long it will not matter, because the juice from the fruit will soften it up.
Instead of the round pan, i used the 15x10 cookie sheet and cut it in squares.. It is delicious!! I have had a friend make this before and i have been looking for this recipe for years! I can't wait to make it for friends and family! Anyone who is looking for a recipe you looking at it right know1 This is the best ever. It has a cookie crust and a fruit topping! I love this recipe! I also drizzle white and dark chocolate over the top, to add some more flavor.

I loved this recipe!
It was delicious! Definably going to make it again. Every one loved these at a July 4th picnic. I did have some trouble with lots of crumbling when I tried to cut it into pieces maybe the cookie dough flattened out too much. This dessert does not keep well overnight.

Not as sweet as frosting and a nice contrast to the sugar cookie sweetness. Pizza may be stored in the refrigerator, loosely covered, for up to 4 hours. Best served fresh as the fruit will begin to release juice the longer it sets.
